The Real fans welcomed back Tamera Mowry-Housley with open arms.

After formally leaving the talk show back in July, the Sister, Sister alum reunited with former cohosts Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and new star Garcelle Beauvais this week to discuss her upcoming Hallmark movie Christmas Comes Twice. In the holiday film, Tamera plays an astrophysicist, a character she says was inspired after Loni, who has an electrical engineering degree. But before diving into the nitty gritty of filming a movie during the coronavirus pandemic, Tamera talked about what she missed most about her former cohosts.

“I promised myself that I wouldn’t cry. It’s so good to see you, ladies! You always look so beautiful, and I’m so proud of you,” she said on the show. “I’m excited to be here. Behind the scenes I’ve been trying to get this together, so I’m really happy that I’m here today.”

Fans couldn’t contain their emotions seeing the 42-year-old back on their small screens. “We miss her so much! ❤️ So happy to see her glowing & smiling! 😘,” one wrote. “I cried so much 😭 I really miss her ❤️,” a follower said. “I miss the old gang,” a different person commented.

Another viewer shared their admiration for Tamera and her former cohosts during the transition: “I feel like Tam is just evolving and elevating to new platforms. I’m glad the other girls are so supportive and don’t feel any type of way. That’s true love.”

So, what has Tamera been up to since her departure almost five months ago? For one, she’s been spending more time with her two kids, Aden and Ariah. Tamera shared that her 2-year-old daughter now watches Sister, Sister all on her own and even laughs at the jokes. Tamera is also set to join Hallmark’s daytime lifestyle series Home & Family this month as a contributor, according to Deadline.

We’re so happy to see her happy!
