Ralph Lauren x Major League Baseball Team Up for a Special Collection

Growing up in the Bronx, Ralph Lauren idolized iconic players like Mickey Mantle during the storied golden age of New York baseball. To celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary in 2018, the designer was invited by the New York Yankees to toss the first pitch.

Now, Ralph Lauren is collaborating with Major League Baseball to celebrate the rich heritage of America’s—and Mr. Lauren’s—favorite pastime. There will be three special collections featuring some of baseball’s most iconic teams, including the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, and St. Louis Cardinals. Don’t see your team? No need to worry, Ralph Lauren has promised they will expand to additional teams later, and Boston fans, before you ask—yes, the Red Sox will also be included.

The Major League Baseball collaboration launches just in time for you to get your hands on these sporty staples to wear to your next game. The unisex collection blends the traditional American heritage Ralph Lauren aesthetic with athletic flair for a classic varsity style. Polo shirts, crew neck sweatshirts and quintessential varsity bomber jackets all emblazoned with team logos will be included, as well as special team-themed “Polo Bear” polos and sweatshirts. And of course, it would not be a baseball collaboration without the quintessential baseball cap.
