Quentin Tarantino Takes Home Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay for ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’
Fact: No award-winning movie would be complete without impeccably-written dialogue.
Tonight, the 77th annual Golden Globes took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. During the ceremony, Quentin Tarantino won the award for Best Screenplay for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
The other nominees in this category included Steven Zaillian for The Irishman, Noah Baumbach for Marriage Story, Bong Joon Ho and Han Jin Won for Parasite and Anthony McCarten for The Two Popes.
Marriage Story earned the most nominations from this bunch with a total of six (!), with Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and The Irishman in a close second with five. The Two Popes earned four nods this year, while Parasite received a respectable two.
Last year, Peter Farrelly, Nick Vallelonga and Brian Currie took home the Golden Globe for Best Screenplay for Green Book.
They beat out Alfonso Cuarón for Roma, Deborah Davis and Tony McNamara for The Favourite, Barry Jenkins for If Beale Street Could Talk and Adam McKay for Vice.
