Queen Elizabeth II has reportedly made a number of "difficult decisions" regarding Prince Philip's funeral tomorrow, according to People. As the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing, she has had to greatly limit the number of family members and guests who can attend the ceremony and services.

"We are dealing with a family funeral and at its heart it is still a family event," a royal spokesperson told the outlet regarding the minimal guest list, ultimately finalized by the queen.

Adhering to the United Kingdom's pandemic guidelines, which state that a maximum of 30 individuals can attend a funeral, Queen Elizabeth will be joined by her four children she shared with Prince Philip—Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward—and their respective spouses for the ceremony. The monarch's grandchildren, including Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie, will also be in attendance.

As for their spouses, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, will attend alongside her husband, William, as will Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi with Eugenie and Beatrice. However, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, will remain Stateside for the service, as she is currently far along in her pregnancy with her and Harry's second child, and therefore was not cleared by her physicians to make the long-distance trip.

Philip's funeral will take place Saturday at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle at 3 p.m. local time. The Duke of Edinburgh was involved in the planning of his ceremony before his passing, and even as a scaled-down event, it is expected to be "very much in line with the duke's wishes," according to a royal spokesman.
