More specifically, the British monarch employs the use of the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link, which functions not only as a fan, but also an air purifier, and a heater, making it essential in any season. But that versatility doesn't come cheap; the appliance clocks in at $399.99.
Eagle-eyed royal enthusiasts first noticed the device in the photos released following the Queen's meeting with her new Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Elliot Wagland, the head of pictures at the Evening Standard, even Tweeted a close-up photo of the fan with the cation "BREAKING NEWS... Forget the new prime minister, the Queen has a Dyson cool fan."

In total, the Queen's meeting with Johnson lasted just about 25 minutes, and the fan was tucked beside a table the whole time, optimally placed to cool down the Queen.
"The Queen received in audience the right honourable Boris Johnson MP this afternoon and requested him to form a new administration," reads a statement from Buckingham Palace about the audience.
"Mr Johnson accepted Her Majesty’s offer and kissed hands upon his appointment as Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury."
In addition to the Dyson, there are a few other items in the background of the photo worth calling attention to.
Over on the left, for example, photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge can be seen on display. And directly above the Dyson is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth's third cousin and close friend, Denmark's Queen Margrethe.
