Queen Camilla Goes Vibrant in Blue Midi Dress With Charlotte Tilbury and Rose Hanbury for Badminton Horse Trials

Queen Camilla fashioned a sophisticated springtime look for her latest royal engagement on Sunday. The queen consort was on hand for the final day of the Badminton Horse Trials 2024 at Badminton House in Gloucestershire, where she greeted attendees and presented a trophy.

While attending the event, Queen Camilla met with a number of high-profile guests, including Charlotte Tilbury and Rose Cholmondeley (née Hanbury). The queen consort fashioned the Aster midi dress by Samantha Sung. The dress featured a three-quarter-length sleeve with a full skirt and belted waist. The linen frock was designed in an indigo hue with white throughout as well.

As for her accessories, Queen Camilla opted to wear pieces she’s been seen fashioning in the past. Among her bracelets and necklace, the British royal family member wore pieces by Kiki McDonough and Van Cleef & Arpels. Queen Camilla completed her look with a pair of pearl earrings and caramel-colored shoes.

Among the looks Queen Camilla has fashioned for the spring in England, she’s worn several pieces baring the same silhouette. More recently, the queen consort repurposed a dress for an event she hosted at Buckingham Palace. The dress, designed by one of Queen Camilla’s go-to designers Fiona Clare, featured an ornate pattern with white and black contrasting with varied shades of blue. She also wore the look while visiting the BBC Wales’s new Headquarters in July 2022 in Cardiff, Wales.

Queen Camilla often fashions designs with the same silhouette in mind. When it comes to patterns and accessories, the queen consort is rarely averse to wearing ornate looks or even animal prints on occasion. Her consistent use of understated or sentimental accessories adds another dimension to the royal’s wardrobe.

As demonstrated by her attendance at her royal engagement on Sunday and on previous occasions, the queen consort manages to wear a silhouette that works best for her without sacrificing the more playful and idiosyncratic elements of her approach to style.
