Quarantine Meals: Savory Potato 'Nests' with Honey Glazed Ham
RONI PROTER: Sweet and smoky honey baked ham, creamy potatoes, and cheese, it's all the comfort of Sunday supper wrapped up in one tiny, little nest. I mean this is so much easier than actually roasting or baking an entire honey ham. Mix it together. Just scoop them into muffin tins, but don't overpack them. We want them to be light and airy.
We're going to create a little well in the center. That's where our filling is going to go. Let's get our adorable, little nests in the oven. So my little nests have cooled which is perfect because I'm going to fill them with this gorgeous, creamy filling. I grab my creme fraiche.
I'm just going to take it and doll up in that little well of every nest. Creme fraiche is a milder, creamier sour cream. But of course, you can use sour cream in a pinch. Aren't these so fun? It's such a delicate little finger food, perfect for brunch time or any time.
