Puma x Ami Is Back for Winter and It's Selling Out Already

Earlier this year, Puma and Ami teamed up on a collection that was two years in the making. Marked by no-fuss sweats, collaborative sneakers, and a generally easygoing attitude, the offering was a hit. "I wanted, with humility, to bring my little touch of my Ami feeling," Ami designer Alexandre Mattiussi said at the time. "Because in the end, Ami and Puma, I wear it already. It's about a good product with two brands you love and you cherish and you put together." Puma's global creative director, Heiko Desens, described the venture as "a real love affair."

Should it come as any surprise, then, that the two brands are back at it? Not really. But we're excited that it's happening, regardless. And it seems we're not the only ones. Today, Puma and Ami released round two of their collaboration on Ami's website, with a larger global release set for December 10 through Puma. Click over to the assortment of sweats and sneakers—now supplemented with cold-weather essentials like puffer coats, a parka, a fleece, and a stripy scarf—and you'll notice that in the short time since the product went live, things have already started to sell out.

No doubt some of that enthusiasm is coming from folks who missed their chance the first time taking this opportunity to stock up on pieces that'll mix and match with their existing wardrobes. It was, after all, much more than hype that made the brands' first outing a success; having tested it out, we can confirm that the product really is that good. So, what's a savvy shopper to do with the news that this new collection is here and ripe for the picking—at least for now? Move fast. Otherwise you might end up like those folks who missed out last time, waiting patiently for the next release to get your hands on something good. Better to get that something good now, and then get more good stuff later, right? Right.
