Publix stores will be open until 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve 2022, but will remain closed on Christmas Day. In fact, Publix stores have closed on Christmas Day throughout the company’s 90+ year history.
Similar to past years, stores will remain closed on Christmas Day "to allow our associates to spend time with their family and friends,” a company spokesperson told to Parade in an email.
Publix, one of the largest regional grocery chains in the U.S., has locations in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
