  • Property Brothers star Drew Scott says it was love at first sight when he spotted his future wife, Linda Phan, at a 2010 fashion week event in Toronto.

  • The adorable couple have been inseparable ever since their first date in 2010, and in a recent interview, shared more details from the evening.

From the "longest first date ever," to the long haul, Drew Scott and Linda Phan's love story is the stuff that dreams—and romantic comedies—are made of.

Looking back on their first date in an interview with People, Linda recalls trying to end the evening after going out for sushi and hot chocolate with Drew. But he wasn't about to give up that easily.

"I thought, okay, I'm going to duck out and head to this party," Linda says. "And Drew said, 'Oh, I'll come.' And in my head I thought, I didn't really invite you, but sure."

The pair ended up spending the rest of the night singing together at a karaoke party amid what Linda described as the "longest first date ever."

At the party, Drew impressed Linda right off the bat with his first song choice: The Lonely Island hit "I'm on a Boat."

In fact, in an Instagram post last year, Linda revealed that "was probably the first time I fell in love with you. The first of many times."

The couple eventually tied in the knot in a beautiful Italian ceremony on May 12, 2018. They recently took to Instagram to commemorate their two-year wedding anniversary in the sweetest way.

Linda shared a video of her and Drew kissing on their wedding day, captioning it, "I would freeze time but I wouldn't want to miss out on every new moment with you."

Drew responded with some sweet words of his own in a post on May 4, the day the couple have chosen to celebrate their anniversary.

"Every day I count my lucky stars that you chose me," he said. "Every love story has its own beauty. But I have to admit that ours is my favorite."

It's definitely one of our favorites, too! We wish these two love birds many more years of wedded bliss.
