A Professional Face Reader Says Khloé and Tristan's Halloween Family Photo Is Full of D-R-A-M-A
Amidst rumors about the solidity of Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's relationship in the wake of his alleged cheating, yesterday, the new dad posted a family photo with their daughter:
While seeing both of True Thompson's parents in one frame might seem like a beacon of hope for the couple, professional face reader Dan Hill, author of Famous Faces: Decoded, says there's way more to it. Here's what you might have missed:
In Khloé's Face:
The right corner of her mouth is curled up in a smirk.
"She's never struck me as someone who is very happy, but there's something extra here that could substantiate her feelings about the rumors," Hill says, pointing out the smirk on the right side of Khloé's slight smile. He thinks it could be contempt: "It means, 'I don't trust you, I don't respect you. And that would entirely fit this scenario."
The bottom of her right eye is straight.
Anger surfaces in tight and narrow eyes, Hill says. And here, Khloé's left side gives her away.
Her eyes are unfocused and glassy.
"That can be a sign of sadness, disappointment, and sense of feeling isolated, forlorn, or hopeless," Hill says. "It's something I don't typically see in her-a powerful reaction to the [cheating] scenario, if it's true."
In Tristan's Face:
His smile is meh.
"When you're feeling real joy-really feeling elated-there tend to be crows feet wrinkles at the corners of the eyes," Hill says-but he's not seeing this in Tristan's big, but seemingly forced and potentially fake smile. "Anyone can say cheese," he adds.
The Bottom Line:
In this particular family photo, Khloé leans into Tristan. "There's proximity, not connection," Hill says of what he sees in their faces, circling back to the new mom's expression. "A smirk is the most reliable sign a marriage will fail," he says, citing research that supports this-which doesn't bode well for these un-marrieds.
