'Prodigal Son' Fans Are Seriously Freaking Out Over the Show’s Recent Instagram

Prodigal Son fans, rejoice! Season 2 is finally here, and Malcolm Bright (Tom Payne) is back to work helping the NYPD solve crimes.
In the season 2 premiere, entitled "It’s All in the Execution," the gifted but troubled forensic psychologist tries to focus on the case at hand while also dealing with the drama that unfolded in the season 1 finale. Last season, Malcolm's sister, Ainsley Whitly (Halston Sage), killed pharmaceutical tycoon Nicholas Endicott (Dermot Mulroney). A preview of season 2 shows Malcolm comforting Ainsley afterward and hinting that he'll destroy the murder evidence.
Ahead of the highly anticipated episode, the Fox drama shared a teaser of what’s to come on Instagram. Based on the clip, it looks like Malcolm will have to grapple with the fact that Ainsley may be more similar to their serial killer father, Dr. Martin “The Surgeon” Whitly (Michael Sheen), than he ever thought possible.
