Priyanka Chopra, Rihanna, Demi Lovato, and more stars who are teaching us to put self-love 1st

Beyoncé said it best in her song “Me, Myself and I”:Me, myself and I, that’s all I got in the end … I took a vow that from now on I’m gonna be my own best friend.” Preach that self-love, Queen Bey! And she isn’t the only famous female reminding fans how important it is to stay positive and be confident.

Actress Priyanka Chopra may be spending most of her time getting cozy with Nick Jonas (lucky girl), but like Beyoncé, she also shared an empowering motto: “Love yourself, ladies. You’re your best friend.” In an interview with Allure magazine, Chopra revealed her own insecurities while encouraging women to get rid of self-doubt: “Can we for a second love ourselves and say, ‘I do not need all of these magazines to tell me how to lose the weight or how should I starve because I want to please a man?’”

Christina Aguilera finds that pampering herself with a soothing bath is the perfect way to keep her mind and body in balance. She wrote on Instagram, “Don’t forget to exhale & love yourself.” Well said, Xtina. We all need some “me” time.

Demi Lovato is an open book. She has talked about her sobriety, her struggle with an eating disorder, and the importance of a positive body image. She started the year off with a powerful Instagram post: “This year I’ve decided I’m letting go of my perfectionism and embracing freedom from self criticism. Learning to love my body the way it is is challenging but life changing.

Aguilera and Lovato are connected in their message of self-love and music. They collaborated on the song “Fall in Line.”

Speaking of strong female singers, we can’t forget Rihanna! Her confidence is spilling over to fans of all shapes and sizes. RiRi launched a body-inclusive lingerie line, Savage x Fenty, and it completely changed the game — in a positive way! “Savage is really about taking complete ownership of how you feel and the choices you make,” she told Vogue magazine. Thanks for thinking of all of us, Rihanna.

Let’s hear it for girl power!
