Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Won‘t Have a Baby Anytime Soon
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are holding off on baby #1, it seems.
Nick and Priyanka apparently aren’t making a baby a priority right now because they’re just too damn busy!
Sorry, Nickyanka fans—looks like there won’t be a Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas baby anytime soon. 😞 I know, I know. Some of you have waiting for a baby announcement since they finished their fifth wedding ceremony and probably have been guessing their first baby’s name 5ever, but there will be no baby pics in the near future for these two. I’ll give you a moment to process. *hands you a tissue*
According to an Entertainment Tonight source, a baby is not a major concern for Priyanka and Nick right now. IDK if you noticed, but uh...they’re busy AF. “Nick and Priyanka want kids, but right now it’s not a priority,” the source said. “Both are extremely busy, and with the Jonas Brothers reuniting and being a massive success, the couple is conscious [of] how much time the tour takes up.” This makes total sense: Right now, Nick is getting ready to go on the road with his brothers (Kevin and Joe, duh) for their Happiness Begins tour, which starts on August 7 (hi, can someone gift me a ticket please??? 😅). As for Priyanka, she’s currently filming a movie called Gangubai and is set to star in two others.
“Nick and Priyanka haven’t been putting pressure on having kids...They are enjoying married life, traveling, and working. The couple is okay with when it happens, it happens, and it will be a blessing,” the source added. Basically, this means that while now isn’t the best time for a Nickyanka baby, a child doesn’t seem totally out of the question for 2020.
Both Priyanka and Nick have expressed that they want to be parents someday, so when they’re ready, they’re probably going to make great parents! “I definitely want to be a father someday,” Nick said in an interview back in December. “I have seen a lot of life at an early age and I hope to be able to share that with a kid of my own someday.” Priyanka echoed a similar sentiment in her July InStyle cover interview. “I want my existence to have meant something,” she said. ”I want my kids to turn around and be like, ‘Yeah, that was my mom.’”
Sooooo Priyanka and Nick aren’t planning for that baby right now, but I totally foresee one happening next year. Anyone care to make a wager on some baby names or...??
