Priyanka Chopra's Sweet Comment About Meghan

Shortly following yesterday's emotional royal wedding, Meghan Markle's good friend actress Priyanka Chopra shared her thoughts about not only the bride, but also specifically how this wedding "stood for change and hope."

"Every once in a while there is a moment when time stands still.. that happened today," Chopra wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. She had shared a photo of Meghan and Harry leaving their ceremony.

"You my friend.. were the epitome of grace, love and beauty. Every choice made at this wedding by you both will go down in history, not just because it was your wedding but because this incredible wedding stood for change and hope. Both things that the world needs desperately. Thank you for being the perfect picture of all things good.. seeing your union and love blessed in front of my eyes Made me so happy.. and tear up! 😑 I wish you both love happiness and togetherness always.. 💕"

Priyanka and Meghan have been friends for years. They first met at an annual Women in Television dinner and have remained close. “We bonded as actors," Chopra said. "We just became friends, like two girls would."

She was invited not only to the ceremony and first reception of the day, but also the more intimate evening reception at Frogmore House, with a much smaller guest list.

Chopra changed from her light purple look from earlier in the day into a sparkly Dior gown for the party.
