At last, it's officially acceptable to recline on the sofa with a mince pie in hand and bask in the glory of Netflix's 2020 Christmas entertainment. This year, we've so far been treated to The Princess Switch: Switched Again, starring Vanessa Hudgens, Vanessa Hudgens and, erm, Vanessa Hudgens. Hey, we're not complaining.

The film follows Duchess Margaret (played by Vanessa Hudgens) as she unexpectedly inherits the throne to Montenaro, after struggling to make things work with Kevin (played by Nick Sagar). Nick also happens to be the best friend of The Princess of Belgravia (also played by Vanessa Hudgens). Duchess Margaret and The Princess of Belgravia decide to switch places, giving Margaret time to fix her relationship with Kevin. Sound familiar? But not so fast because a third look-alike soon enters the mix, Lady Fiona (also played by... nevermind) who plots to steal the throne from under their noses.

It seems we're not the only ones impressed by Vanessa's versatility in the film:

If all this drama wasn't quite enough, in one of the film's final scenes we get a glimpse of some of the main characters from Netflix's other cheesy Christmas film franchise A Christmas Prince. Settling in to watch the coronation of Duchess Margaret are Queen Amber (Rose McIver), King Richard (Ben Lamb), and their baby.

Let's just say Twitter was very amused by the cameo:

Some eagle-eyed fans noticed that in original The Princess Switch, Stacy (now The Princess of Belgravia) watches A Christmas Prince on Netflix. Make it make sense?

Excuse me while I re-watch the entire A Christmas Prince trilogy to hunt for more clues...
