Princess Eugenie Wrote the Most Touching Tribute for "Beautiful Big Sister" Princess Beatrice

After Princess Beatrice got married, a few royals offered up their congratulations (publicly and privately, mind you), but nobody posted a message as sweet as Beatrice's sister, Princess Eugenie. In an Instagram post, Eugenie said that it was a "joy" and "privilege" to grow up alongside her sister and wished her all the best with her new husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

"What a complete joy and privilege to watch you, my beautiful big sister, walk down the aisle to dear Edo," Eugenie wrote. "I am so proud of you and I'm excited to support you in the next chapter of your life. We are going to have so much fun together."

The wedding was originally scheduled for May. However, it had been repeatedly postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic. The government ceased all weddings on June 29. After that, People reports, Beatrice and Mozzi started to plan a more private ceremony. The event took place near Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew’s family home at Royal Lodge.

According to Marie Claire, Kate Middleton and Prince William offered their congratulations on Instagram, writing, "Congratulations to HRH Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi who were married in a small private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor on Friday!" Hello! reported that Meghan and Harry congratulated Beatrice and Mozzi privately.
