Earlier this week, when Buckingham Palace confirmed that Princess Beatrice is expecting her first child with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the statement noted that both families were "delighted with the news," and that the baby will arrive this fall.

It read in full: "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year. The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."

Today, Princess Eugenie shared a more personal reaction to her sister Beatrice's pregnancy news on her Instagram account, and coupled the note with a reminder that it's "World Bee Day."

"It's World Bee Day!! 🐝🐝 A day to celebrate nature's most badass little friend with their black and yellow stripes.. ⁣But our furry little friends have to share today with my big sis Bea (🐝) who's got a little one on the way," Eugenie wrote in the caption of a photo from Princess Beatrice's wedding day. "Beabea and Edo huge congratulations on your news - can't wait to meet the little one 🥳🥳"

Edo then responded in the comments of the post, "Thank you. So thrilled our little family is growing ❤️." Beatrice's baby will be a cousin to Eugenie's son August, who was born earlier this year.

While this will be Edo and Beatrice's first child together, Edo has one son, Christopher Woolf "Wolfie," from a previous relationship with architect and designer Dara Huang. Beatrice serves as his stepmother.
