In 1986, she attended a polo wearing the statement sneakers with a pink sweater, baggy jeans, and a preppy bandana. She wore them again in 1988 with an army green jumpsuit, while visiting the Royal Hampshire Regiment during maneuvers at Tidworth in Wiltshire.
