When Kitty Spencer—the 30 year old daughter of Princess Diana’s brother—married Michael Lewis in July, the celebration was precisely as opulent as one might expect from the joining of a model and a fashion tycoon. For the three-day event, Dolce & Gabbana, for whom Spencer is a global brand ambassador, crafted a number of “exclusive hand-made gowns” including a high-necked, Victorian-inspired lace confection that she walked down the aisle in (sadly, the Spencer Tiara famously worn by her aunt Princess Diana for her wedding to Prince Charles was not present.)

The bride's father, Earl Spencer, was reportedly not at the celebration outside of Rome, so the honor of walking her down the aisle instead fell to her brothers Louis Spencer, Viscount Althorp and Samuel Aitken. Though it may have been a small break from tradition, it doesn't appear to have been a disappointing one at all, as Spencer shared in a regrammed video from Dolce & Gabbana that having her brothers escort her at the wedding was "the proudest moment of my life."

"The proudest moment of my life, without a doubt, was having my brothers walk me down the aisle," Spencer wrote. "Thank you to our family and friends for the most unforgettable weekend filled with more love and laughter and happiness than I have ever known ♥️ It still feels like a dream."

The video reflecting back on the nuptials includes close-up shots of the dresses she donned as well as glimpses of the decadent venues and the festivities, showing the bride looking radiant and gloriously happy.
