Princess Charlotte Looks Just Like Prince William in Her Fifth Birthday Portrait
Princess Charlotte is growing up fast—and more and more taking after her father. In a new set of photos taken by Kate Middleton, released to celebrate the Princess's fifth birthday, the young royal's resemblance to Prince William is undeniable.
In the past, Charlotte has often been compared to her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth—and she does bear a likeness to the monarch, when looking back at the Queen's childhood photos. But the connection to Will has gone somewhat unnoticed.
These days, Charlotte's had plenty of time to spend with both her parents, as she, Will, Kate, Prince George, and Prince Louis have all been staying at their country home in Norfolk amid the pandemic. In an interview with the BBC, Kate admitted that juggling work, homeschooling, and childcare has been "difficult."
"The children have got such stamina," the Duchess said. "You pitch a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake. You get to the end of the day—they've had a lovely time, but it's amazing how much you can cram into a day, that's for sure."
Charlotte and Kate got a break from their day-to-day in April, when the Princess helped locals during the pandemic (and Kate caught it all on camera). According to Kensington Palace, "the family helped to pack up and deliver food packages for isolated pensioners in the local area." In addition to aiding pensioners, the charity mission resulted in some very touching images of Charlotte.
