Princess Beatrice Wears a Cozy Camel Coat and Combat Boots for a Rare Outing in London

Princess Beatrice is out to lunch.
Earlier this week, the 32-year-old royal was photographed out and about in London for a lunch date with friends at the exclusive eatery Scott's in Mayfair. For the casual outing, Beatrice wrapped up in a cozy camel coat courtesy of Maje, which was layered over a black minidress and matching tights, and paired with leather combat boots also by Maje. The princess complemented her look with a velvet, knotted burgundy headband and a bright-blue leather Louis Vuitton bag.
Wool camel coats are an apparent wardrobe staple among the royal family: Duchess Meghan often wore the tan-hued garment for her royal appearances, including the Reiss coat she wore to one of her last public events as a working royal alongside Prince Harry in January 2020. The Duchess of Cambridge also often opts for the neutral-toned outerwear, donning a Massimo Dutti coat for an appearance with Prince William in East London earlier this spring.
Beatrice has kept a relatively low profile amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and following her surprise, scaled-down nuptials to her husband, property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, last summer.
"The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11am on Friday 17th July at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor," read the official statement from Buckingham Palace at the time. "The small ceremony was attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and close family. The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant Government Guidelines."
Princess Beatrice's intimate wedding ceremony also marked one of the last public appearances from her late grandfather, Prince Philip, who passed away at the age of 99 last month.
