Princess Beatrice Is Engaged to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi
Another royal wedding is happening! Princess Beatrice is engaged to boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The couple announced the news via Buckingham Palace on Thursday, September 26, a few weeks after the proposal took place.
“The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Beatrice to Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi,” the palace statement read.
“We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement,” the pair announced in a joint statement. “We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to be married… We share so many similar interests and values and we know that this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.”

The pair got engaged during a vacation in Italy in early September. The pair visited the country for a romantic getaway ahead of designer Misha Nonoo and Mikey Hess’s wedding, which took place just this past Friday in Rome. The wedding itself was a star-studded affair with the likes of the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex Megan Markle and Prince Harry attending as guests, in addition to Princess Eugenie and Gayle King.
According to the palace, the couple’s wedding will be held in 2020.
This will be the palace’s fourth royal wedding in the span of two years. Of course Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie wed at Windsor Castle in 2018, as did Lady Gabriella in her recent nuptials.
