  • Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are currently enjoying a small-scale honeymoon in France, reported People.

Princess Beatrice and her new husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are currently honeymooning in France.

According to People, the newlyweds are enjoying a low-key vacation following their July 17 nuptials at Windsor—and are planning a more lavish second vacation in the next few weeks.

"They are on a small honeymoon in France," a source said. "They have a longer more luxurious honeymoon planned for August."

The pair surprised the world in going forward with a scaled-back ceremony earlier this month after the coronavirus pandemic halted their plans for a grander ceremony originally set to take place at St. James's Palace and reception in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. A guest list of around 20 close family members and friends were in attendance to witness the nuptials, including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, and the bride's parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York.

An intimate party reportedly followed Beatrice and Mozzi's ceremony, which included a few more guests who dined, danced, and mingled under a tent and lush floral decor.

"A few more people were there than the wedding, but it was still very small and intimate. It was all outdoors and under a tent with the same matching floral design and theme as the wedding," a source told People. "Everyone stayed in special 'glamping' pods that were erected on the grounds about 100 yards from the church and partied into the night," People reported.
