This weekend, dads around the world celebrated Father's Day, enjoying special moments with their children. The British royal family was no exception, and they marked the holiday on Instagram, where Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, posted a collection of family photos. The post included a never-before-seen photo of the Cambridge kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The photo, in the bottom left corner of the collage, appears to have been captured at Trooping the Colour in 2019. The sweet shot features Prince William and the three children, with Prince George hugging his dad's leg as William carries Prince Louis. The Duke of Cambridge is in uniform, and the royal kids sport dressy daytime attire.

"Wishing fathers everywhere a happy Father’s Day," the caption reads.

Also included in the post are photos of Prince Charles with William and Harry, Kate and her father, Michael, at Cambridges' wedding, and a photo, taken by the Duchess of Cambridge, with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, and their great-grandchildren.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were not the only royals to post in honor of Father's Day. The more general royal family account, @theroyalfamily, used the day to remember the late Prince Philip. This is the royal family's first Father's Day without the long-serving royal consort and patriarch. The post included a photo of the Queen with her father, King George VI, Prince Philip, and a young Prince Charles taken at Balmoral in 1951.

"To all dads everywhere, we wish you a very special Father’s Day," the caption reads. "To mark #FathersDay we are sharing this photograph of The Queen with her father, King George VI, and Prince Philip watching a young Prince Charles sitting on a statue at Balmoral in 1951."
