"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photograph of their family," the Palace said of the photo. "The image features on Their Royal Highnesses' Christmas card this year. The photograph was taken earlier this year by @ChrisJack_Getty at Kensington Palace."

The family-of-four opted for coordinated baby blue ensembles for their 2017 Christmas card. Kate donned a two-piece, belted ensemble, while William wore a simple navy suit with blue tie. George, 4, wore navy blue shorts and a striped button-down, while Charlotte, 2, donned a pretty blue dress and a hair bow.

Middleton isn't yet showing in the photo, so it must have been taken months ago. Of course, the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her third child with William in April, which means that next year's card will feature another child!

Rules the entire royal family has to follow:

The growing family is expected to spend the holidays alongside Prince Harry and fiancée Meghan Markle at Queen Elizabeth's private estate in Norfolk called Sandringham. The royal family is breaking tradition by extending an invitation to Markle, as their Christmas celebrations normally only feature couples that have married already. Harry and Meghan are set to wed in May of next year.

Also on Monday, Clarence House released Prince Charles and Camilla's official Christmas card. The formal couples' photo is featured in a white card with a red border and reads, "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year."

"Here is this year’s official Christmas card from The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall," Clarence House tweeted. "The photograph was taken by Hugo Burnand at Highgrove in July during the private 70th Birthday party of The Duchess of Cornwall."
