Prince William and Kate Middleton are moving on after their charity's split from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates to Kensington Palace for a meeting to talk about their respective charities. Will and Kate represented their Royal Foundation, from which Harry and Meghan recently split, while Gates attended the meeting in his capacity as co-chairman and trustee of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

The low-key meeting wasn't announced beforehand, but was recorded in the Court Circular–the official daily record of royal engagements, ITV reports.

While the details of the private meeting are still a mystery, it stands to reason that Will, Kate, and Gates were discussing potential partnerships between their respective organizations.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is the largest private foundation in the world and the tech entrepreneur is estimated to have given $35.8 billion in charitable donations.

The Royal Foundation's efforts focus primary on mental health, early education, young people, wildlife conservation, and veterans issues. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, on the other hand, focuses broadly on working "to help all people lead healthy, productive lives."

Whatever they might be considering working on together, we're sure that any collaboration between these two organizations would result in a lot of good for a lot of people.
