Kate Middleton and Prince William are in Jordan for the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Alseif. The Daily Mail reports that the royal couple were seen in a luxury Amman hotel ahead of the wedding, which is taking place at Zahran Palace.

Kate and William were spotted walking through the bar of a five star hotel, where Kate wore a black Alexander McQueen suit and white top:

Kate and William's trip comes shortly after their own 12 year wedding anniversary, which they celebrated in late April:

The couple have been dealing with some slightly dramatic reports about their relationship lately, most recently thanks to a source saying (via The Mirror) that "Kate treats [William] like the fourth child because he's prone to tantrums. They do have rows. It's not a perfect marriage. They have terrific rows. But, where some couples have a row and throw heavy vases at each other, William and Kate throw cushions at each other. It's always kept under control."

Meanwhile in May, a source told Us Weekly that when it comes to Kate and William’s relationship, “No marriage is perfect, including Kate and William’s and they’ve certainly had their ups and downs over the years. They bicker like most couples and have recently been under pressure dealing with the drama surrounding Prince Harry.”

Royal author Tom Quinn also recently noted that “big stress for William and Kate is that they’re constantly surrounded by [Palace aides]. It’s like a Jane Austen novel.”

If Jane Austen novels include luxury hotel stays for royal weddings, accurate!
