Prince William and Kate Middleton currently split their time between their home at Anmer Hall in Norfolk and permanent residence at Kensington Palace in London, but according to a recent report by The Sun, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are considering a complete relocation—they have their eyes on Windsor and hope to move this summer. The news comes just one month after reports that Queen Elizabeth II is planning to live at Windsor Castle full-time and will not return to Buckingham Palace.

So, where will the royal couple live should they relocate? That's still up in the air. According to The Sun, the Cambridges are looking at several private homes in the area, since they've ruled out the apartments at Windsor Castle as well as several other royal residences, like Fort Belvedere. Viable options for the couple include Frogmore Cottage, which is on the grounds of Windsor Castle and is the United Kingdom home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and Adelaide Cottage, in Windsor's Home Park, which is currently occupied. Making the move with Prince William and Kate is their three children—Louis, Charlotte, and George—so schools in the area are also being considered, specifically in Buckinghamshire and Surrey.

This isn't the first time it's been speculated that the Duke and Duchess are considering a move to Windsor. Marie Claire reports that in January, royal expert Kate Nicholl told OK! magazine that "neither William nor Kate have ever been London people and have never enjoyed the chaos of the city. Whilst their home at Kensington Palace is highly secure, they have often felt overlooked and that they lacked privacy." She added: "The older their children get, the more apparent this has become. They love being at Anmer. But they need a base that is close to the capital so they can easily return for public engagements and events. Windsor seems like the ideal situation."
