Prince William Attends Wedding of Ex Jessica Craig During 4-Day Trip to Kenya

Prince William spent most of his Easter weekend on a trip to Kenya where he attended the wedding of a longtime friend.

William, 33, attended the wedding of Jessica "Jecca" Craig on Saturday at the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, during his four-day trip to Kenya.

Craig is marrying conservationist Jonathan Baillie.

He laughed and chatted with friends at a champagne reception on Friday where he was among about 150 guests, The Telegraph reports.

The couple also created a fundraising page for the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, pledging to raise over $98,000 to fund an elephant corridor underpass.

Close to the Craig family, William went to Craig's brother's wedding in 2008 – missing his cousin, Peter Phillips' wedding.

Several weeks ago, William, Princess Kate and their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, went on a ski trip in the French Alps.

William was romantically linked to Craig during his gap year before university and it was on the Craig's family safari reserve that he proposed to Kate Middleton in 2010.

Williams is a patron of Tusk Trust and took the mostly private trip to see "first-hand some of the longstanding conservation and anti-poaching initiatives" supported by the organization.

During the trip, William was expected to spend time with rangers in the Lewa Conservancy to learn about their work protecting the local rhino populations from poachers.

He was also expected to work with those fitting tracking collars to elephants to help with conservation and research efforts.
