Prince Philip "Doesn't Want to Go" to Windsor with the Queen, But Palace Aides Are Making Him

  • Prince Philip has to move to Windsor with the Queen and "doesn't want to go."

  • There aren't enough royal staff for Philip to safely stay at Sandringham.

The royal family have been handling lockdown in the most intense way ever, and protecting Her Majesty is priority #1 for obvious reasons related to her being the literal Queen. And thanks to her coronavirus "bubble" being so intense, it looks like Prince Philip is going to have to change up his schedule to move to Windsor with his wife--giving up his home at Sandringham.

According to The Sun, The Queen and Prince Phil will be spending two weeks at Sandringham together, and then he'll join her in the "HMS Bubble" at Windsor--despite Philip wanting to stay at Sandringham solo.

"Philip didn't want to go to Balmoral and doesn't want to go to Windsor," a source said.
"But there is not enough staff to make two bubbles so he is being made to go. It makes far more sense to keep them together."

Literally, awk times. Also FYI that the HMS Bubble essentially consists of 24 staff members working in shifts of 12, and rotating "three weeks on, and three weeks off" with a quarantine week in-between. It's a whole intense thing, and has resulted in The Queen and Philip spending six full months together--one of the longest amounts of time they've had together in their entire marriage.
