Prince Louis Has an All-New Hobby, According to Kate Middleton

Every parent can relate to Kate Middleton’s comment about trying to keep up with her 3-year-old son, Prince Louis.

Kensington Palace recently shared details about the Duchess of Cambridge’s photography initiative, Hold Still, which encouraged the public to take a moment to appreciate nature. During a phone call with one of the finalists, Middleton shared a rare update about her youngest child, who is growing up so fast.

“Louis has got so big now,” she said, according to Hello! magazine. Although the conversation was just released, it was recorded back in 2020 (when Prince Louis was 2).

Middleton also revealed that Prince Louis had acquired a new hobby: scootering. “He’s very quick running around and he's on his little scooter, as well,” she explained.

The duchess’s next comment will make every parent say, “Same.” She continued, “He’s very quick. I can’t keep up with him.”

The news comes just a few weeks after Prince Louis turned 3 years old on April 23. On that same day, he also celebrated a major milestone by attending his first day at Willcocks Nursery School, which is located in Kensington. If he follows in the footsteps of his siblings—Prince George (7) and Princess Charlotte (6)—he’ll eventually enroll at Thomas’s Battersea.

Wishing Middleton all the best as her children slowly transform into mini adults.
