Prince Harry Says There's an "Urge" for Men in Royal Family to Marry People Who "Fit the Mold"

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Netflix docuseries just dropped, and the question on everyone's minds (or, one of them) is naturally, how much time do they spend talking about Prince William and Kate Middleton? Answer: Not that much. At least, not so far.
The first three episodes of Harry & Meghan are largely focused on the beginning of the Sussexes' relationship—including how they met, the racism Meghan faced, and the press intrusion they dealt with ahead of their wedding. And while Kate and William weren't mentioned much directly, there were a few 👀 moments. Starting with when Harry casually said this during the first episode:
“For so many people in the family, especially obviously the men, there can be a temptation or an urge to marry someone who would fit the mold, as opposed to somebody who you are perhaps destined to be with,” Harry said. "The difference between making decisions with your head or your heart. My mom certainly made most of her decisions if not all of them from her heart, and I am my mother's son."
Harry obviously didn't name names, but there are pretty much two prominent men in the royal family right now: King Charles and Prince William.
Meanwhile, Meghan hinted that William and Kate weren't exactly the most warm when they came over for dinner at Kensington Palace for the first time. "Even when Will and Kate came over, and I met her for the first time, they came over for dinner, I remember I was in ripped jeans and I was barefoot," she said. "Like I was a hugger, I've always been a hugger. I didn't realize that that is really jarring for a lot of Brits. I guess I started to understand really quickly that the formality on the outside carried through on the inside."
William and Kate have yet to release a statement about the docuseries, but stay tuned!
