Here’s How Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Wished Prince Louis a Happy Birthday on Instagram

Earlier this week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle proved they’re getting the hang of this whole social media thing when they shared a personal tribute in honor of Queen Elizabeth’s birthday. And now, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are continuing the celebrations with another b-day shout-out.

It all started when Kensington Palace debuted three official portraits in honor of Prince Louis’s first birthday, which bear a striking resemblance to Prince William’s. When the royal couple stumbled scrolled upon the post, they sent their well wishes in the comments section.

“Happy Birthday Louis!” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wrote. “Sending lots of love from both of us xo.”

The birthday portraits were taken by Prince Louis’s mom, Kate Middleton. Surprised? Us, neither. Not only did the Duchess of Cambridge, 37, study photography at the University of St. Andrews, but she also regularly showcases her talents on her children’s birthdays.

Prince Louis’s shout-out comes just two days after the royal couple celebrated Queen Elizabeth’s birthday on Instagram. Prince Harry and Markle shared a slideshow of photos, featuring new and old snaps of the royal through the years, and revealed they have several nicknames for the monarch, including “Your Majesty,” “Ma’am” and “Granny.”

Earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex debuted their new Instagram handle (@SussexRoyal) and shared a never-before-seen photo of themselves standing on the balcony of the Grand Pacific Hotel in Fiji.

Happy birthday, little prince.
