Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Reach Another Relationship Milestone

They’re attending one of his closest friend’s weddings in Jamaica, and we can only imagine the seating-chart logistics.

A source told Us Weekly that Meghan Markle kept the fact that she’s attending a wedding in Jamaica this weekend a “secret.” Let’s hope she or Prince Harry at least told the bride and the groom, because honestly, what a horror. Someone not mentioning he’s bringing a plus one to your destination wedding until the last second sounds like a logistical nightmare. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves here, as the key fact is that—per a source in Us—Markle and Harry are reportedly attending a wedding together.

It’s the nuptials of Harry’s best friend, Tom Inskip (a.k.a. “Skippy”, who’s been there for many of Harry’s past follies and foibles) and Lara Hughes-Young, in Montego Bay, St. James. Markle will be meeting a large portion of Harry’s wolf pack down there, and it’s apparently their first time socializing openly as a couple, per the Daily Mail. The outlet also reports that Markle and Harry arrived in Jamaica separately. He was flying from London, while she flew in from Toronto, where she’s currently filming Suits. Although, per Us’s sources, Markle has “all but moved into Harry’s two-bedroom Kensington Palace flat.”

The wedding attendance marks another relationship milestone for the couple. Since Harry publicly confirmed their status via a missive from Kensington Palace (versus the rest of us, who simply sit there hovering over the “in a relationship” status update on Facebook until we finally take a deep breath and click), they’ve bought a Christmas tree together, taken a romantic trip to Norway, and held hands in public. Markle also reportedly gave Kate Middleton a dream journal.

At this rate, the tabloids will have them expecting twins by summer, just like Beyoncé and Amal Clooney. It might not be true, but it’s what everyone needs right now.
