Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their 1-year-old son Archie may live in L.A., but they're still celebrating family patriarch Prince Philip's 99th birthday from across the pond.

A source close to the couple tells Town & Country that the Sussexes are expected to speak with Harry's grandfather Prince Philip to wish him a happy birthday today.

Other royals are also sharing birthday messages and photos on social media in honor of the Duke of Edinburgh's milestone.

Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a trio of pictures of Prince Philip on the Kensington Palace Instagram account, a slideshow which includes a new portrait of the Duke and the Queen released in honor of Philip entering his 100th year.

That picture was taken earlier this month at Windsor Castle, where the royal couple are currently social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"Wishing a very happy 99th Birthday to The Duke of Edinburgh!" reads the caption.

The main royal family Instagram account, which represents the Queen and Prince Philip as well as Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and a number of other royals also shared a series of images of the Duke's life.

"🎈🎂Wishing The Duke of Edinburgh a very happy birthday!" reads the caption. "His Royal Highness turns 99 today and will spend the day with The Queen at Windsor."

Harry and Meghan recently shut down their Sussex Royal Instagram account—otherwise we might have seen a post from them as well.
