It's not breaking news that Prince Harry has a penchant for travel. Over the course of his life, the Duke of Sussex has flown around the world more times than we've probably had hot dinners. From the North Pole to the Bahamas to Brazil to Botswana (where he and Meghan Markle solidified their relationship), basically, his list of globetrotting credentials are pretty impressive.

But while the 38-year-old is now firmly settled on the other side of the Atlantic - residing in Montecito, California with Meghan and his young family, Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two - Harry has recently opened up about his desire to relocate to a different country (and continent) entirely.

On Thursday 9 August, Harry spoke at the International Sports Promotion Society Sports Values Summit at Tokyo Big Sight in Koto Ward in Tokyo. His presence in Japan comes as he is set to take part in a charity polo match, plus being the creator of the Invictus Games.

While speaking at the conference, Harry enthused about Japan and noted that - if he had the opportunity - he would seriously consider living in the country. Mainly due to his love of Japanese cuisine, it seemed, after he detailed he had "the most incredible Kobe steak, both for dinner last night and lunch today."

Jokes aside, the Duke then went on to say how everyone he meets in the country is warm, compassionate, and generous. "Every single element of the Japanese culture is really unique and very, very special," he added.

Following this, the father of two then revealed that if the country would have him, a future relocation could be on the cards. "I noticed it on my first visit four years ago when I came for the Rugby World Cup. And I would happily live here if you'd have me."

"Thank you for your hospitality. I have really, really enjoyed being here in Japan again and I'm looking forward to my next visit," he signed off with.
