There’s a New Prince Charles Documentary—Here’s What We Know

Ever wanted to learn more about Prince Charles and his historic estate, the Duchy of Cornwall? Well, now’s your chance.

ITV recently released part one of a two-part documentary, titled Prince Charles: Inside the Duchy of Cornwall. So, what’s it about? And when will the second installment be available?

Keep reading for answers to all your burning questions.

What's it about?

The two-part documentary is in honor of Prince Charles’s 50th anniversary as the Duke of Cornwall, which includes overseeing the Duchy of Cornwall.

The Duchy of Cornwall is a royal estate that was originally established in 1337 to provide an income to the heir to throne. Since then, it has grown into a thriving business that spans across 23 counties.

The doc introduces viewers to the day-to-day operations of the Duchy of Cornwall, as well as restoration projects for future generations.

When does it air?

Part one of Prince Charles: Inside the Duchy of Cornwall aired last Thursday and is currently available for online streaming. The second installment will be broadcast on October 31 at 9 p.m. on ITV.

Who's in it?

The documentary features a diverse cast of local families, staff and tenants of the Duchy of Cornwall. It also includes exclusive interviews with Prince Charles, in addition to Camilla Parker Bowles and Prince William.

Can it be streamed in the U.S.?

Unfortunately, ITV can only be watched in the U.K., unless otherwise specified by your cable provider. Since no U.S. network has stepped forward to obtain the international streaming rights (at least not yet), we’ll be scouring the internet for clips.
