Prince Andrew Will Reportedly Walk Princess Beatrice Down the Aisle at Her Wedding

The scrutiny surrounding Prince Andrew's scandal has taken a toll on everyone at Buckingham Palace, but no one has felt the effects of the fallout more so than his two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Prince Eugenie. And the timing couldn't be worse, as Beatrice is in the midst of planning her wedding to fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

While Andrew had to miss the couple's engagement party over fears of paparazzi waiting for him outside the venue, he isn't going to let his public embarrassment get in the way of him being there for his daughter on her actual wedding day.

In fact, according to People, he will likely play a major part during the ceremony. "I definitely think he will walk her down the aisle,” a source told the publication. “He plays a very traditional role in her life. She’s his greatest supporter.”

The insider pointed out that despite it being "obviously very hard times," Beatrice and her father remain close. “They are still traveling together, they are still going ahead like normal,” says the source. “Beatrice would never do anything to be hurtful to her father. He’s going to be by her side and she’s going to be by his.”

Meanwhile, other wedding details will remain up in the air until the scandal begins to subside, ET reports. "Everyone right now is concerned about Bea," a source said at the time. "Poor Bea. She deserves to have the wedding she wants and the public is going to go nuts [because of her father]."

It's unclear if Beatrice has set a date yet, but many believe she will wed in June 2020.
