'Pretty Little Liars' Star Sasha Pieterse Shares She's Pregnant With Sweet Belly Photo

She’s got a secret, and she can no longer keep it! Pretty Little Liars star Sasha Pieterse just announced that she and husband Hudson Sheaffer are expecting their first child together — and she’s already got an oh-so-sweet baby bump to show for it. The 24-year-old actress understandably couldn’t contain her excitement in sharing the big news, calling this her “favorite role ever.”

While celebrities come up with all kinds of flashy ways to announce their pregnancies, this couple kept theirs simple and classic. In a stunning black-and-white photo, Pieterse’s silhouetted baby bump gets a gentle kiss from Sheaffer. And making the announcement all the more special? They shared it on a date that’s already sentimental to them.

“We are so beyond excited to finally share our sweet news with all of you,” Pieterse wrote. “We will be welcoming a precious little human this October! Today marks our 2nd wedding anniversary and what better way to share our joy than on the day when our lives changed forever (the first time).”

Pieterse spent the rest of the caption praising her husband and soon-to-be father of their child, saying, “Thank you for making me a mom and for always being my unwavering rock and safe place. You bring out the adventurer in me and I feel like my truest self when I’m with you, luckily that’s all the time! I love every part of you with every part of me and will continue to love who you are and who you become especially as we enter this brand new chapter.”

Of course, Pieterse and Sheaffer’s forthcoming bundle of joy joins a growing family of next-generation PLL’ers. Troian Bellisario (aka Spencer Hastings) and her husband, Suits star Patrick J. Adams, welcomed daughter Aurora in October 2018. Shay Mitchell (aka Emily Fields) gave birth to daughter Atlas in October 2019. Hmm, we’re picking up a pattern here — every October, a PLL star seems to have a child! Sounds like something that would happen in Ravenswood. Right, fandom?

Coincidental timing aside, we couldn’t be happier for Pieterse. During her stint on Dancing With the Stars, she opened up about being diagnosed with PCOS, or polycystic ovary syndrome, of which a major side effect can be infertility. Congrats to the happy couple for their exciting news!
