The president tweeted a photo with Kim Kardashian and people are confused

In a moment that might be peak 2018, President Donald Trump just tweeted a photo of a meeting he took with beauty mogul and reality star Kim Kardashian.

Kardashian was reportedly visiting the Oval Office to advocate for prison reform, and to try to get a pardon for Alice Marie Johnson, a great-grandmother serving a life sentence for her role in a multimillion-dollar drug ring.

She was pictured heading to the West Wing wearing a black pantsuit with neon yellow heels. Accompanied by her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley, the reality star may meet with Jared Kushner before sitting down with President Trump, according to Vanity Fair.

While the president is no stranger to reality television and reality television stars, people on Twitter had some strong responses to the photo.

Many of them expressed disbelief.

Parkland, Fla., student and activist David Hogg jumped in with a policy question about gun control.

Most people were just dumbfounded.

Kardashian, for her part, shared a message on her Instagram account alluding to the reason for her visit.

According to Mic, Kardashian has spoken to White House adviser Jared Kushner several times about Johnson in an attempt to bring attention to the 62-year-old’s case.
