Pregnant Peta Murgatroyd Looks Lovely in Black Lace at PEOPLE’s Ones to Watch Event
Peta Murgatroyd is a master in the ballroom, and a masterful maternity style maven.
The reigning Dancing with the Stars champion, who is seven months along in her pregnancy, cloaked her baby bump in a strapless black maxi dress at PEOPLE’s “Ones to Watch” celebration in Los Angeles presented by Maybelline New York.
Murgatroyd, 30, added a subtle but sexy style factor by accessorizing her simple garment with a sheer lace kimono cardigan along with a black choker and a pair of color coordinated stilettos that were accented with metallic hoop detailing.
She and fiancé Maksim Chmerkovskiy are expecting their first child, a boy, in early January. As for a wedding date, the DWTS pros are eyeing summer 2017 for their big day.

At Thursday’s event, PEOPLE honored Murgatroyd as being one of Hollywood’s rising and brightest stars at its fourth annual “Ones to Watch” Party. Guests were treated to Maybelline’s beauty bar, social shots from a fun animated photo activation and had an iris reading to determine how to best achieve inner and outer beauty. Other honorees included Chloe x Halle, Manny Mua, Laura Lee and Simone Missick among others.
PEOPLE’s “Ones to Watch” will be featured in the magazine’s upcoming issue on newsstands nationwide on Friday, October 14th.
