Pop-Tarts Just Released Mermaid Pastries With Blue Raspberry Filling
While we’re waiting on the status of the Pop-Tarts Froot Loops flavor, we’ve been distracted by another variety swimming onto store shelves. Mermaid-inspired Pop-Tarts will have you letting your hair down for a dreamy breakfast.
Instagram account @thetastyturtle spotted the new Kellogg’s offering at Walmart. The “Mer-Mazing Blue Raspberry,” as it’s described on the packaging, consists of Pop-Tart pastries with a sea blue filling. It’s covered in white icing and features a mermaid-tail design. The box says “mix & match,” which leads us to believe that some pastries have the top half of the mermaid’s body and others have the bottom half, so you can create your ideal creature.

This isn’t Kellogg’s dabble in the mythical creature world. Last year, it came out with unicorn-inspired Pop-Tarts that features “sparkle-licious” cherry flavor with a rainbow-haired unicorn design. So it was only a matter of time until we got a mermaid version!
It appears that the “mer-mazing” Pop-Tarts are just rolling out on shelves now, so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to stroll down the cereal aisle the next time you’re at the food store. One magical breakfast coming right up!
