WeCrashed: The WeWork TV series has a trailer and release date

The scandalous story surrounding the rise and fall of WeWork and founders Adam Neumann and his wife Rebekah Neumann is being made into a series starring Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway. The series, WeCrashed, is based on the Wondery podcast series of the same name and is set to be as dramatic as it gets, with some big names involved in the project both on and off-screen. Here's everything we know about WeCrashed.

Is there a WeCrashed trailer?

Apple TV has released the first official teaser trailer for WeCrashed, and it looks just as gripping as the real-life story.

We can see Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto in character as Rebekah and Adam Neumann, as we get an insight into the origins of WeWork, plus the ensuing drama that unfolded. Watch the trailer here:

When is WeCrashed being released?

There's more good news, as the WeCrashed release date has officially been announced. The show will be available to stream on Apple TV+ from 18 March, so there's not long to wait at all.

What is WeCrashed about?

Like the original podcast it's based on, the series will explore the meteoric rise and equally dramatic fall of WeWork, under the leadership of founder and CEO Adam Neumann. The co-working space company famously went from being a hugely successful disruptor valued at $47bn, to a chaotic set-up with a prophet-like CEO and inescapable problems.

The eight-part series will follow the greed-filled journey of the company's creators, exploring the hubris and narcissism that destroyed their success.

Who is starring in WeCrashed?

Starring in the lead roles, Jared Leto will play Adam Neumann alongside Anne Hathaway as his wife and co-founder Rebekah Neumann, with both executive producing the series. We also have some exciting pictures of Leto and Hathaway during filming for the show, and it's giving us eerie cult-leader vibes (which we love).

Frankly, we just want to know how they've made Jared Leto look like Tom Hiddleston x Henry Cavill, but that's a question for another day...

The series also stars O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid's Tale) and America Ferrera (Ugly Betty), which is a pretty exciting cast if you ask us.
