Simi and Abel were first linked in early 2022 (though sources attempted to claim they were just friends) and have been low-key together ever since. Most recently, Simi accompanied Abel to Cannes for the premiere of The Idol while wearing this gorgeous blue gown on the red carpet:

Angelina Jolie: 2021

Nothing was ever fully confirmed, but the internet spiraled when Abel and Angie were spotted leaving dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles back in summer 2021. That said, a source told Us Weekly, “Both Angie and Abel are telling people that they are just friends, but those who know them think something romantic is going on."

Bella Hadid: Nov. 2017 to Aug. 2019

Abel and Bella were seen together in November 2017 (so...about a year after their first breakup), but a few months later she seemingly shut down reports that they were back together:

Around this time Abel was also linked to Chantel Jeffries, but he and Bella continued to be spotted together over the months, until Bella finally made it clear they were together by posting pics from her birthday on Insta in October 2018:

But then they split up again in August of 2019, with an E! News source saying, "They are in different places right now, physically and mentally. Bella is prepping for her fashion week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut."

Yovanna Ventura: Nov. 2017

Abel was super briefly linked to Yovanna Ventura, by which I mean they were spotted holding hands. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Selena Gomez: Jan. 2017 to Nov. 2017

Selena and Abel started dating in January and—after being spotted on vacation and going Insta official (the pics have been deleted)—they made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in May 2017.

They broke up about five months later in September 2017, but Selena later said there was no drama, telling Billboard, "Something that I'm really proud of is that there's such a true friendship [between me and The Weeknd]. I truly have never experienced anything like that in my life. We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring [for each other], and that was pretty remarkable for me."

Bella Hadid: 2015 to 2016

Bella and Abel were first linked during Coachella 2015, when a source told E! News, "They have many things in common and really enjoyed each other's company." By November of that year, Abel had officially made it onto Yolanda Hadid's Instagram:
