Williamsburg Winery

Visit the Williamsburg Winery to experience a wine tasting, take a tour of the private cellar or enjoy a European-inspired meal.

On Mother’s Day, a special brunch buffet will be available from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will also be live music on the Pavilion from 2-5 p.m.

The Williamsburg Inn in Colonial Williamsburg will have a Mother’s Day brunch in its Terrace, Goodwin and Rockefeller rooms from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Brunch features a pre-fixe menu, Mother’s Day-themed cocktails and mimosa flights.

Williamsburg Botanical Garden and Freedom Park Arboretum

For nature lovers, the Williamsburg Botanical Garden and Freedom Park Arboretum is a good spot to take a walk.

Take a stroll through Freedom Park’s 600 acres of wooded land, and explore native plants, herbs and wildflowers in the botanical garden.

Admission is free, and the park is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day of the week.

Jamestown Discovery boat tours

Cruise around the James River in a guided boat tour to learn about the Williamsburg area and take in the sights.

Several themed tours are available on the days leading up to and following Mother’s Day, including sunset cruises and sightseeing tours. Customers can also book a private charter on Sunday to customize their tour experience.

If you’re looking for thrill and excitement this Mother’s Day, how about a little axe throwing? Moms throw for free on Mother’s Day.
