Guess what, Pitch Perfect fans? Peacock recently announced that the beloved movie franchise is getting a spin-off series. But the new series won’t follow The Barden Bellas. Instead, it’ll center around a former Treblemakers member who is trying to revive his failed singing career.

According to People, there is a new spin-off series centered around former Treblemakers singer, Bumper Allen (played by Adam DeVine), coming to the streaming service. Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin follows Bumper as he moves to Berlin after college to pursue a music career.

Elizabeth Banks, who starred in the Pitch Perfect movies, will also produce the new project alongside her husband, Max Handelman, under their media company Brownstone Productions. DeVine will also serve as a producer, with The Good Place’s Megan Amram serving as showrunner.

DeVine will be joined by Sarah Hyland (Modern Family), Lera Abova (Anna), Jameela Jamil (The Good Place) and Flula Borg—who you may recognize from Pitch Perfect 2, where he played one of the leaders of the German acapella group, Das Sound Machine.

The spin-off series will consist of six thirty-minute episodes. Be sure to mark your calendars because Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin will premiere on Peacock on November 23, 2022.

We can’t aca-believe it!
