There’s nothing funny about Detroit Pistons star Blake Griffin when he’s on the basketball court. The six-time NBA All-Star has been one of the better power forward’s in the game for quite some time now.

But when he’s away from the game, there’s a good chance the nine-year pro is cracking jokes.

The full-time hoops star and part-time comedian recently took his act on the road, performing in Montreal at the Just For Laughs Festival. And thankfully, for those of us who weren’t at this year’s festival, Griffin saved some fantastic material for a segment called “Blake’s Comedy Cab” by Red Bull.

Posing as a cab driver in the bustling French Canadian city, the Pistons star surprises unsuspecting citizens with some pretty decent comedic chops in the video below.

Griffin’s got jokes, that’s for sure.

From testing out cheesy one-liners, learning French (sorta) and blaring “The Star-Spangled Banner” in his car, Griffin gave people a ride they’ll probably never forget.

Needless to say, it seems like Griffin has got his post-NBA career all sorted out.
