Pippa Middleton and Her Husband, James Matthews, Make a Rare Joint Appearance After Welcoming Their Daughter

Pippa Middleton just stepped out for date night.

The British socialite and new mother of two was photographed out in Chelsea last week with her husband, James Matthews, according to E! News. The pair reportedly dined alfresco at an Italian restaurant, and their two dogs even tagged along. For the rare night out with her husband, Middleton wore a cozy, plaid wool coat layered over a black turtleneck, sheer tights, and stud-embellished booties. Matthews opted for a leather jacket and jeans for the date.

"The couple was pretty relaxed as fellow diners came along to say hi and pat their dogs," a source said told E!

Middleton and Matthews's outing marks one of the first times they've been spotted out together following the birth of their second child, a baby girl named Grace Elizabeth Jane Matthews, in March. Last month, Pippa was photographed with a friend, sans Matthews, going for a stylish stroll with her new daughter in tow.

"Pippa and James are thrilled, it's fantastic news amid a difficult year. The entire family is delighted," a source told Page Six of Grace's birth.

Pippa's older sister, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and her husband, Prince William, were reportedly also delighted with the new addition to their family.

"The Duke and Duchess are absolutely overjoyed by the happy news," a source close to the Cambridges told People at the time of baby Grace's birth. "She's perfect, everyone is overjoyed at such a happy arrival."
