A picture of the main cast of Brahmastra surfaced recently from the script reading session and a glimpse of the formidable cast at work is set to send netizens into a frenzy. The fantasy trilogy directed by Ayan Mukerji will see the release of its first part next year.

The project marks many firsts - Alia Bhatt’s maiden film with the mega star Amitabh Bachchan, and her first film with Ranbir Kapoor. Ayan will also be directing the star for the first time.
